FROZEN AUDITION BANNER.png
Full of magic, humour, and a stunning musical score, Frozen is a powerful tale of sisterhood, acceptance, and finding the real meaning of true love.

In the beautiful mountainous kingdom of Arendelle, Princesses Anna and Elsa grow up sheltered inside their castle, isolated from the world and increasingly distant from each other. When Elsa is crowned queen, the magical powers she’s desperately tried to conceal from her sister take control, and she flees into the mountains. As a ferocious winter descends on Arendelle, Anna sets off on an epic journey to find Elsa and bring her home – with the help of hardworking ice harvester Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and a happy-go-lucky snowman named Olaf.

Available Roles

ELSA | Female | On Stage Appearance: 25 - 35 | Vocal Range E3 to Eb5

Future Queen of Arendelle and Anna’s oldest sister.  She’s born with magical powers that she struggles to control. Elsa’s fear of hurting others pushes her to hide from the world and distance herself from the people she loves most. This is a physically and vocally demanding role.

ANNA | Female | On Stage Appearance: 20 - 30 | Vocal Range G3 to E5

Princess of Arendelle and Elsa’s younger sister.  She is an eternal optimist who longs to be loved and to connect with other people. She might not have the magical powers that Elsa wields, but her inner strength and resolve is equally fierce. This is a physically and vocally demanding role.

KRISTOFF | Male | On Stage Appearance: 20 – 35 | Vocal Range A2 to Bb4

Kristoff is a hardworking ice harvester with a prickly exterior that hides a big heart.  He has a solid sense of right and wrong. Although he is a bit of a loner, Kristoff has developed a personal relationship with his reindeer, Sven. Kristoff was raised by the Hidden Folk, so he doesn’t always know the rules of polite society.

HANS | Male | On Stage Appearance: 20 – 35 | Vocal Range A2 to A4

As the ambitious 13th son of a king, Hans is always on the lookout for opportunities to make a name for himself. He is charming, handsome and extremely good at reading people - all of which he uses to achieve his own personal goals.

A magical snowman with childlike innocence.  Olaf is a loyal friend who loves summer…and warm hugs. Olaf must be an actor with strong comedic instincts. Tap Dancing skills are a bonus, but not mandatory.

IMPORTANT OLAF NOTE: The actor playing Olaf will be manipulating an Olaf puppet, similar to the original Broadway production. This actor will need to have strong vocal characterisation and be able to bring a puppet to life!

SVEN | Any Gender | Any Age

A Reindeer who is incredibly loyal to Kristoff and has definitely adopted some of Kristoff’s personality traits and habits. He is generally standoffish around new people, but if you make it into his inner circle, he is your friend for life.  Sven does not have any spoken dialogue or sung music, but he DOES make vocalisations throughout the show.

IMPORTANT SVEN NOTE:  This role is likely to be double-cast due to the physical strength, stamina, and flexibility required for the performance.  The performer needs to be comfortable wearing a reindeer costume similar to the original Broadway production.
